This CD came out in 1999, but I only discovered it in Dec. of 2005, and it's one of the best CDs I bought all year. Excellent songwriting and a beautiful voice, with a certain vulnerability, but never 'cutesy' like Juliana Hatfield. The closest comparison I can think of is Tanya Donnelly, but Melany Joy Beck's voice grows on you even more!
