This CD "depicts a spiritual journey into a mystical forest where one can embark on a soul searching adventure". Super Hot Trumpet player Mary Jane Benner combines smooth jazz and classical in her CD, Encantado. The CD starts with Fountainhead, a solemn nod to Gregorian chants which climaxes with famed guitarist Andy Timmons rockin' out at the end. Next is two upbeat tracks Wind and Folk Music. Track 4, Encantado, is a smooth bossa number. The Concerto which showcases Mary Jane Benner's classical abilities was written by the late Michael Kamen and is presented on three separate tracks for each movement. Paul English composed four of the tracks, including Beauty, with multi-metered bridges and Sunset, a sexy muted jazz-waltz. Chick Corea's Crystal Silence is the grand finale to this "chill out" CD by Mary Jane Benner.
