Album Notes

In 2003, Matt and Joanna set aside some extra money from his insurance job and her private music lessons to produce an independent CD with the hope that their songs would encourage others to draw close to God and find hope in the midst of their struggles. The CD allowed them the opportunity for an interview to lead worship at a large Christian summer youth camp, M-Fuge, in Jacksonville, FL. (fuge.com). After receiving the position and leading worship at this camp, they began receiving calls to lead worship for churches and retreats, and perform concerts in coffee houses and colleges throughout the Southeastern US.

Their two albums, "Sweet Communion" and "Unless the Lord", contain worship songs along with songs that relate to life experience. The song "Your Love" written by Matt and sung by Joanna was featured on the 2004 Fuge Worship Compilation Album "Befriended" along with other artists such as Matt Redmond, Tim Hughes, and Jami Smith.

In the past year they have opened for Selah (www.selahonline.com) and Warren Barfield (www.warrenbarfield.com). "Unless the Lord" was produced in the spring of 2005 by Jason Kyle (Co-producer and engineer for the trio group Selah (www.selahonline.com)).
