It takes the successes and heartaches of the industry to bring this ‘true sound’ forward now.
“Midnight Jezebels”© is the creation of founder Robert Berges. To sit and listen to the stories of this band, as told by Berges, is a visit with not just any old-school rocker. Berges himself takes a humble approach to telling the stories: Late night studios. . . booze and drugs . . . band members come and gone . . . a collection of groupies hanging out at all hours . . . loves lost and found in the sound. It is truly an experience to sit for an interview with the artist . . . it’s truly an experience when the guitar is pulled off its stand and strummed in a true release of the artist's ability . . . or plucked with care – usually, only heard if you lasted past 3 a.m.

Sure he’ll give homage to his influences: The (early) Stones, The Faces, Humble Pie, etc. Stay long enough in the studio he built out of some old garage, one of quite a few, and he’ll tell you about Velvet Revolver, Crystal Pistol . . . no doubt he recognizes the genre of music he’s in a family with. These rockers know only one thing: You give respect to the craft if you learned, at a young age, that it ain’t all about the money. There is not a place that Midnight Jezebels haven’t struggled from . . .
not a hand in the music world that wouldn’t shake theirs. Enjoy.
