Album Notes

Michael Joe Kirkbride’s career spans over 25 years. Having grown up in Philadelphia,
he started playing in a variety of Blues and Rock bands before moving to San
Francisco shortly after High School to pursue a full time career in music.
About this time, he became passionately interested in solo acoustic guitar music
and began performing throughout the San Francisco Bay area, even spending two
years performing as a street musican on the streets of San Francisco. He also
spent time in Hawaii studying the Slack Key guitar styles of accomplished
musicians. In 2004 Michael released the CD “When The River Cries” on the
Delivan Music Label which went to number 22 on the New Age charts. His new CD
“The Lullaby Of Trees” was released in March of 2007. His music is available on
