MJP is Michael J Petraglia, an early victim of Beatlemania and guitar crazy ever since that famous Ed Sullivan Show
Located between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, He spent a good amount of time in cover bands on Long Island,in the Southern Tier of New York State and in the Buffalo Niagara Region.
It wasn't long before his catologe of original music had become too large to ignore. With the onset of affordable digital technology Mike created "Deep Six Studio's. With the help of CD baby and a host of digital distribution sites, MJP brings you "Safer Ground"
Mike can be found performing in coffee houses and small clubs throughout the region and someday may put together a tour but for now is happy making music on a small scale with few compromises.
"My music comes from the heart, I don't write to follow or set trends. What comes out comes out and I hope you give it a listen. It's a a little bit introspective and maybe sad at times but isn't that life".
No stranger to electric guitar Mike has recently joined "Inside Out" a hard rocking dance band that is basically a fun loving dance band. "It's a ton of fun and I didn't realize how much I missed playing in a powerful rock band"
