The third CD from MJP pretty much takes up where the others left off. The intro song "Goodbye Yesterday" features and extended guitar solo and a rip roaring ending. "One More Song" is an introspective gospel like tune done on a Taylor acoustic with a touch of chorus. There's a nice mix of acoustic and electric tunes and generous portions of harmonica. "A-Bar Number Five" is a blues tune about working in a GM Factory and was the result of a real life experience Many of the tunes have been influenced by the many live shows done in the past year. Most of the songs are newly written with the exception of "Old Melody" and "To The See" which have been around for awhile but never recorded. For the most part it's a mellow CD and will delight those who enjoyed "In Good Time and "Safer Ground"
Thanks for reviewing this album! You should see it show up on the album page in a few days.

The songs on this CD have such a "laid back" and relaxing quality. You can hear the influences of many artists, such as The Beatles, Neil Young, Pink Floyd and others. It was really a great experience listening to these fantastic songs! Read more...
