Album Notes

Finally, I feel like I am hitting my pace in my solo career and ministry. I am having a blast performing and speaking all over the country and love the fact that I am just playing, singing and writing what I want without worrying about how "the industry" views me. I wish I could have arrived at this place sooner, but hey, at least I am here now...right!

My new album "Dance" is really a compilation of my life over the last 3 years. The triumphs, the pain and the adventure. A lot of it has to do with my marriage and how challenging it has been to try and accomplish harmony in our marriage while maintaining a music ministry career. I wish I could say I have completely arrived in this area, however, God continues teach me what it means to lay down my life for my family and just how selfish I really am. As this becomes more and more clear, I am less and less attracted to at least the traveling portion of my career among other areas.

The basic concept of the album is that my walk with God is more like a "Dance". Sometimes I am in step and being led gracefully in time and with perfect meter. Othertimes I am falling down, not one step is in time and everything is a mess! With everything in between...maybe you have felt like this before...if so...you will probably dig this album!

I recorded it all myself (minus 2 tracks) with a little digital recorder all over the country using my guitar as a drum (like I do live) as well as my ebow holder invention and other various household items. It has a very real sound that people seem to be enjoying...
