I attended a Little League World Series game in Williamsport, Pa. and marveled at the quality of play by all of these young children. Their enthusiasm and love of the game of baseball was wonderful to see. I tried to express their sentiments in this song and felt they deserved to be honored with a song of their own. Children love to sing. I thoroughly enjoy attending these events. Watching local little leaguers competing with hopes of making it to the World Series is a relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors. This CD is a lasting souvenir of one of a child's more pleasurable experiences.
