"In Loving Misery" is a tribute first, to Gary Maddison - Mickael's father whom died in a car accident, but also to anyone who's been through the wringer as far as relationships are concerned. There are some good times (With You, Hero), there are some sad times (Shadow), some transitional times (After the Night, Forward Today, Molecules of Oxygen), some unusual times (Sweet Misery), some angry times (Something Missing, Red Glaring Eyes) and some dangerous times (Rain). The title captures the misery of memory that we all feel at times in our lives.
