Album Notes

Welcome to the muse - the highly musical world of Tim Harmony,
jazz harmonica and multi-faceted pianist, Martan Mann. This is a
captured moment of pure inspiration.

Tim and Martan met briefly at the Agape Music Symposium in Los
Angeles in Autumn 2004. As fate has it, they decided to jam on a few
tunes. The result was magical. This led to two beautiful jazz duo
Christmas concerts sponsored by the Steinway Society of the Bay Area,
at San Jose's packed St. Joseph's Cathedral in December 2004. The
audience was transfixed by the spontaniety and inspiration of their music.

As a result, Tim and Martan decided to "record the magic". This
recording is dedicated as a tribute to the two musical mentors of
Tim and Martan - Toots Thielmanns and Kenny Werner.

Here is a quick biography of Martan Mann:
Author of three books: "Jazz Improvisation for the Classical Pianist" (available on Lulu.com), "New Age Improvisation for the Classical Pianist" (available on Lulu.com), and "Improvising Blues Piano" available in music stores throughout the world.
