Wild dogs 2000! this is the band that rocked the west coast as a mix of dr mastermind and wild dogs matt mccourt\'s two premier bands for the past 25 years paired down to a super power trio wild dogs were opening shows for dio, dokken great white, and more during 1998-2002 the songs show a strong sense of integrity with great guitar work throughout by mccourt and michael brown-michael Brown\'s amazing guitar work includes his 8 finger techniques and blazing fast arpeggios done with a custom designed stainless steel pick a true metal man!(and all done on dean usa v\'s formelrly owned by dimebag before he switched companies(courtesy of fatdawg guitars in berkely ca.
malice drummer pete laufman is onboard and uses the danmar metal kik pads which are audible and define the bass drum well.
2 years worth of weekly songwriting went into this work
and yeilded some great tunes, a nice addition to those following matt\'s career and songwriting catalog
since this release mccourt has issued nealry 30 cds featuring his voice, bass, guitar work and songwriting in a variety of styles this is teh beginning of what he calls his recordingbinge period which included 6 cds by church of el duce featuring teh mentors bassist heathen scum, mayhem, dr mastermind a blues metal album a southern rock type cd called southern fried steel and the powerful atomic thunder and ring of blood albums from 2005 and 2006

this is the first post dr mastermind album for mccourt and as i understand recorded it however he could with pete laufman and michael brown during their 4 year run.. good songs and looking back its a good place to start some killer tracks are here and a handful of classics dot the album..mccourt obviously is a true metal head and doesnt give a rats ass what people think and thats why i admire the man. i came in through the church of el duce route and mccourt is everybitas good as heathen scum says! this album was finished right before a trip to amsterdam after the recording of the very first church of el duce album..
