Album Notes

The Misconceptions formed in Syracuse, New York in 2002. We recorded our first album My Name Is Rossmer, in 2003 and played shows in the Northeast throughout 2003 and 2004 to a quickly growing fan base. An automobile accident (bad) and a band member’s gig in a Broadway show (good) forced us to take a hiatus from performance and instead concentrate all efforts on creating a new 17-track in the studio. This is it.

We have started scheduling shows for the summer and beyond. We hope to fulfill the need for more bands writing fun, intricate rock and roll without trying to save the world or yell at our parents – some-thing that seems more and more scarce these days.
