Album Notes

thanks for stopping by.

this is my 3rd CD. a year and a half in the making, more daring trips into electronic noise and sound.

this is music that I look for and never find. experimemental and daring, not dry, academic, or pop. it screams!

the sounds are painstakingly developed and molded into surreal dreamlike episodes. some were done in realtime, some were multitracked.

the only instrument used is the Serge Modular Synthesizer - no MIDI.

This is surreal sound on the ragged edge of music. You won't find any standard time or scales here. The structure comes from inside the sound.

lots more info on this and my other CD's on my main website.

like with my other CD's here, 10% of sales go to worthy causes.

REVIEWS

For experimental electronic music enthusiasts, this is a "must have."
author: Harry Dibrell
On this third release by m/n/m/l (aka John Papiewski) our ears and minds are in for a real treat. If you really enjoy experimental electronic music, this cd is a "must have." Composed and performed entirely on a Serge modular synth, the music sometimes drifts, sometimes charges and always is interesting. It is experimental, abstract at times appears to be random yet is carefully composed and crafted. Buy this and then buy the two previous cd's. You will not be dissappointed.
