Album Notes

"Walking down the street like we got no fear...."
The Mob Law's bold trio echoes across the crowd, just minutes into their set and already it's undeniably clear that this Seattle based-three piece is settting the stage for a musical revolution. Almost instantly their infectiously rowdy energy pours from the stage and charges the crowd with irrepressible motion. "The Mob Law is on the loose...." and indomitably armed with a plan to pump harmonious beats into the ears and souls of Seattle's comatose scene. Each members' interpretation of rock, reggae, hip-hop and punk combined with the driving force of Seattle's historical sound, has formed this band's unwavering electric foundation and unmistakably original buzz. Their cross-pollination of musical genres has created a uniquely dominant rhythm and sound capable of bringing home the long lost and waking the dead.

BEST BAND COMING OUT OF SEATTLE

Mob law brings it all...lyrics, harmony, sic drum lines and incredible talent playing on stage. They are a mix of punk, reggae, rock and together the 3 (or sometimes 4...TJ is amazing!) of the them make sweet sounding tunes that you can listen to again and again...and again. Buy their cd's, come to their shows, and meet these guys - you will not be disappointed. THE MOB LAW IS ON THE LOOSE

Great album but I want more.

This is a great short album. But it's short. I'm lucky enough to live where I can hear Mob Law live and they have a LOT more music in them than you're hearing here. The rap stuff isn't my favorite part, although when it's going live NO one can keep their booty still. I'm completely in love with "What Do I Do Now." It's lyric, rich, evocative. "Good Good Girls" made me laugh out loud. It's honest to god funny. "I'll Fly Away," it's sneaky. You hear it, you like it, sure. But the song is an earworm. Three days later you'll be walking down the hall at work and ... you're STILL singing "I'll fly away..." This album is worth having for "What Do I Do Now" alone, but get it to convince the band, and CD Baby, to make and carry more CD's.

Too bad this is probably the best band no one will ever know becuase the radio stations wanna play some Blink 182 crap or another Pearl Jam ripoff...This EP rocks. The Mob Law simply put is 3 awesome musicians who all click into the same music style and take listeners to places never before imagined.
