The blues is a very wide music, & our body of work shows that. To us, it's a natural thing to pour the wonderful traditional blues that have influenced us into life's 'blender', add other new musical, cultural & practical elements that surround us & effect our daily lives, & then throw the switch... What we pour out we can call our own, & Mocombo gives us a conduit to bring it to you.

I've been in the business of playing the blues, promoting the blues, and loving the blues for all my adult years. The idea of creating a label that takes all the traditions of this soulful art form & adds other flavors has always been a dream of mine.
