As a multi-talented artist, Moe! does it all-he raps, sings, acts, song writes, choreographs and does artists development. His creative endeavors flow from an endless supply of motivation and tenacity. He is the CEO and founder of his unique and provocative label/entertainment group, Severe Entertainment.
Moe! had a vision from a young age. He nurtured and culminated his passion in life to reap the ultimate prize-success. He knew that realizing his goals and dreams would not just happen overnight. In looking back, he's endured many years of hard work and skills development in preparation to reach the top. He was born as one of nine siblings to a minister in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where his creative brilliance was expressed at a very young age. He began writing and rapping when he was in the third grade. By age 10, he began enhancing his writing skills by copying down and studying the lyrics of popular rap artists. With strong influences from Rakim and LL Cool J, he entered every talent contest within driving distance. His tremendous gift and vibrant character quickly became prominent throughout his school and neighborhood. Moe!'s love for music was accompanied by an interest in the performing arts. While growing up, he wrote plays and performed in the theater. Performing became second nature to him and the stage was a second home. After placing first in every local contest he entered, Moe! realized that he had more than a lucky streak! He enjoyed musical theater and acting, but he wanted to record his music. He later hooked up with a local DJ and began to perfect his writing and rhyming skills. Under the direction of his then management team, he launched a twelve city college tour. The tour included such rap greats as Queen Latifah, Biz Markie as well as Leaders of the New School (Busta Rhymes) and Public Enemy.
Moe!'s current project is entitled "All the Way Live." It was written and arranged by Moe! in it's entirety. He also produced and co-produced majority of the album. This dynamic project includes not only Hip Hop, which is Moe!'s forte'. It reflects his versatility by including a strong R & B influence with two R & B songs written and arranged by Moe! and performed by Kia Starr. Along with and array of street flava ranging from hardcore hip hop club bangers to conscious food for the soul. He's taking it to the street, driving fom city to city both performing and selling the album.
Others have said that Moe!'s sound is the sound of the future. His album has something for the mind, the party and the clubs. He always seems to come up with catchy sing along hooks, themes and topics that no one else would think of. His beats are always "banging" wall to wall. So have said that he is like the male version of Missy Elliot, with the energy of Busta Rhymes, being an artist and a producer / song writer. He is definitely diverse
