Drivin’ - Mojomama (self-release)
Geez Louise, there’s so much groove going on with this Colorado bluesy funk-rock foursome that it’s as fast and sexy as the hot rod Chevy on the cover .
Their music combines Funk Rock and Soul influences from Aretha Franklin to The Chili Peppers to James Brown, leaving you with a new yet familiar sound.
Since performing at Redrocks in the summer of 2005 with Blues Traveler and The Wallflowers and opening for PBS of the Funky Meters, Mojomama has hit some new levels of integrity, local status and personal goals.
Original groove and dance music with radio friendly songwriting.
Experience and talent links the musicians in this new sounding ensemble.
Performing in Colorado's front range region from night clubs to music festivals.

This is what dance music should sound like

These Guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!
author: 18 WheelerWOW!! That drummer is the best and so is the bass player.
Energizing, funky & addictive
author: mamamurphyThis cd rocks! It's upbeat, fun and has dance in your seat kind of tunes. I play this cd constantly in my car. My 5 year old daughter loves it just as much as I do! We can't get enough!
Hard to keep yourself from movin'!
author: SethNot a bad track in the lot! I bought the album after seeing MojoMama live for the first time and it remained in my car's CD player for 2 weeks! It left only because my brother heard it and stole it from me, leaving me "Mojo-less" and in need of another one! If you are looking for great vocals drivin (pun intended) by a solid rhythm section, check this album out!!!

Foot stompin' groove!
author: John CittadinoThis album feels like a cool summer night after a long hot day. Driving in your fast car with your arm around your girlfriend. Hot infectious rhythms coupled with passionate seductive vocals embrace your soul. Classic funk/rock, fused with a variety of modern beats makes this album ear candy for the listener patiently waiting for something fresh yet familiar to dig into.
funky soul sounds
author: AdminMojomama provides us with 12 original tracks on Drivin'. Their funky soul sound comes through loud and clear with a hard drivin' bass line and smooth vocals. The retro 1970s feel of the music is emphasized by the '70s muscle car pictured on the CD cover art. These are the same songs that Mojomama plays live that get people out on the dance floor shakin' their booties. If you like to get down and get funky, buy this CD!
upbeat grooving good times
author: JohnnyI really lucked out when I stumbled upon this new artist. Their music reminds me of the funky songs I grew up listening to on the radio. The singer really has some soul and the groove just settles in around her.Great guitar playing kinda all around styles from Hendrix to Prince. This band has some huge potential I recommend this Cd to everyone.
