Fantastic !!!
author: EarlFrom start to finish this album never lets up. The funk just keeps on coming. You can tell these guys have spent some serious time with their instruments.
The more I listen to the CD, the more I love it!
author: TonyaI admit to seeing the movie Never Been Thawed several times, while it was playing in Tempe, AZ and at the Phx Film Festival. (The movie features the songs God's Home Number and Hang.) Each time I left the theater with the Mojo Monkeys music stuck in my head (for days!). Finally, I took the time to seek out the band/CD. I'm so glad I did! The more I listen to the CD, the more I love it!
These guys rock!!!
author: Amy AngeloMy husband & I discovered this band through the independent film, "Never Been Thawed" aka "NBT", which featured the songs, "Hang" & "God's Home Number" which we thought were fabulous tunes! I had to get me hands on the album so I was ecited when I found it at CD Baby. I surprised my husband with the full cd this past weekend and we both love it! Can't wait to hear the new stuff when the latest cd is released...keep up the good work!
You'll swear you're in the bayou
author: TKThese LA-based guys sound like they're from Louisiana. Funky, swampy, blues-boogie that you can't help but groove to.

This cd was another great find that I have been listening to constantly. I am waiting for these guys to come to my area so I can see them live. You will not be disappointed with this one. No frills, just good fun music.
Swampy Funk Bayou Boogaloo Groove At Its Best!
author: RalstonThe music here is great, but nothing compared to watching these guys pour it off the stage LIVE. If you chance to see these guys listed somewhere playing - run, don't walk because these guys are a bunch of in-demand studio musicians as well as sidemen for famous rock stars and don't get out too often for this side project band. Take the time to drink in the sweet music these guys are serving up. David Raven is an incredible frontman drummer, Billy Watts phenomenal on guitar and Taras Prodaniuk is a freaking monstor on the bass. Highlights: "God's Home Number". Definitely got a groove-oriented thing going on.
Smart, cool, and funky
author: MickeyLAOne of my favorite albums. Keeps me happy and smilin'.
