Album Notes

The making of Moktezoom began in mid 2002 with a collaboration of eccentric and creative musical concepts.
Moktezoom is composed of Ecuadorian Vocalist/Maria Fernanda Karolis, Acapulco natives Drummer/Fernando Torreblanca, Bassist/Michel Denegri and Guitarist/Luis Torreblanca, all of whom migrated to Hollywood's world famous M.I. (Music Institute) in pursuit of four long life rock n roll dreams.
In 2003, after being accredited as one of Los Angeles newest eccentric collaboration of alternative music, Moktezoom joins the Angelino Latin Alternative rock scene with a new blend of energetic music, powerful lyrics, and captivating live performances with local and national acts such as Plastilina Mosh, Moenia, Resorte and Los Amantes De Lola.
Having been together a little over one year, this quartet demonstrates to their growing fans the true meaning of being the alternative to the alternative. Their distinguished styles derive from a mixture of early and current pop cultures where ancient meets modern and modern meets history. With a vast diverse list of influences each individual member contributes to the unique blend of music that results in the funky raw and eclectic driving alternative rock you now hold in your hands.
Moktezoom's melodies are a collaboration of deep inspirations, life experiences, experimental influences and the simple pleasures of creating music.
Look for them this coming year in a venue near you.

REVIEWS:
musicales disfrutables e inteligentes.
