Album Notes

Recorded between October 2009 and March of 2010, this album features something for people with a range of musical interests. The title track offers soulful vocals and smooth guitar work reminiscent of Steely Dan, while Now That I Know calls to mind the country tinged stylings of early Gordon Lightfoot. The deceptively simple lyrics of ballads like Nowhere to Be and the haunting Marigold Hill stand in contrast to the searing guitar work of Red Eyed Ruthless Man, Steamboat Captain - about Mark Twain - and the mug smashing adaptation of the stock Irish song Dirty Old Town. Fun and intelligent, What's it to Ya? is a special album that offers something for everyone.
