Album Notes

Molly Bancroft's Red Dirt Diaries EP was recorded in a rural town outside Athens, GA, with a group of friends recording to analog tape. Her desire to temporarily veer away from the programming electronics and digital recording - led to this folksy studio recording, which harkened back to her beginnings as a singer/songwriter in Cambridge, MA. The featured songs on this collection, "Fall Down" and "The Break" combine the smoothness and passion of Molly's voice, with strong arrangements, huge hooks and cloud-like guitars and beats.
