Album Notes

Molly's Revenge plays the traditional music of Ireland and Scotland on a variety of instruments including Scottish Highland bagpipes, small pipes, border pipes, uilleann pipes, whistles, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, and bodhran, with some rousing songs thrown in for good measure.

Their arrangements of traditional Celtic jigs and reels bring these dance tunes up to date with a driving, hard-edged accent in a way that will leave your feet tapping, your hands clapping, and your voices shouting for more.

The band has released four CDs, The Siege Of Delhi (March 2001), Revenge Is Sweet (December 2001), and Live At The Espresso Garden (August 2003), and Molly's Revenge Four (September 2004).

Molly's Revenge are regular performers at Highland Games, Celtic Festivals and Performing Arts Centers on the West Coast of the USA and have also toured in Australia and China.

FABIOLA!
author: Jennifer Adams
This one is fabiola (fabulous to the 10th degree)! I couldn't get it into the cd player fast enough and it's a wonder I haven't yet worn the cd out! Once again, the boys have exceeded all expectations. I'm so glad I stumbled across them at the Sebastopol Celtic Music Festival, a few years ago! What an incredible band!

This is a great CD with good lively Scottish and Irish licks along with a few slower pieces. We have a lot of Celtic CD's in our collection and this one holds its own on some of our fav's to listen to. If your feet or toes aren't tapping while you listen to this then you'd better check your pulse.
