":Chameleon" CD features music for everyone
author: Randall Ierna
Chameleon is a Genre-benders dream. The lead off song Love is Underated is a slick production with smooth sax and solid vocals in a soft rock groove. Have you Heard the News
has the trademark Molten mike vocals and some great steel guitar pickin'. Everything Changes is a latin groove with Mike singing about life changes.Bourbon Street Crawl is a decidedly zydeco style with mandolin , accordian and clarinet highlights. Back to My Life is a story of love lost and the healing that takes place after the breakup. Lots of production, strings and great back up vocals. The remaining tunes and songs feature a slow blues single with Mike playing Steel guitar, a hot Funk Rock Electric instrumental Tour de Lance, a sultry slow blues group song, Believe I'm Goin Home with plenty of Sax and Hammond organ foundation, Cyber cafe with a haunting synthesizer lead, Put the Top Down, a Jazz instrumental with a latin groove, and Girls of South Beach, about the fun life in Miami,
The hidden tracks are of Molten Mike singing Everything Changes and Shonan Beach in Japanese. The videos are clear and show off the Chameleon aspect of Molten Mikes talents with Mike playing and singing Special Rider Blues as a single in one and the Group backing him up in You'd Be The First To Go. This CD shows off the incredible talents and songwriting abilities of Molten Mike.
