Album Notes

The idea of recording this album was born in a small music room after discovering Maury Yeston's song cycle and having the great desire to perform it as a theatrical stage experience. Since that day so many talented individuals have helped bring this piece to life for a staged one woman concert/show, and now recorded in it's orginal published key. It has been a project of passion and gratitude, and makes a wonderful addition to any theater lover's collection of music.

A seasoned stage performer, Mona has sung, acted, danced and concertized worldwide on Broadway, New York, Las Vegas, California, and Cruise ship stages. Shows include “Will Rogers Follies”, “Nunsense”, “Jekyll & Hyde”, “CATS”, “Side by Side by Sondheim”, “The Scarlet Pimpernel”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Ragtime”, “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “HMS Pinafore”, and more…. Most commonly known for her original comedic material in the long running show “Expressing Motherhood”, she has also been heard with the Las Vegas Lyric Opera as a guest soloist, and cabaret artist throughout California. However, her greatest productions are her three children - one with special needs - who inspire her and give her music greater depth of artistry.
