Album Notes

Fans of garage-punk and cult Spanish movie directors rejoice!

The Mondo a Go-Go bring you MONDO FRANCO!!!

For the first time ever, hear a modern garage-punk combo unleash 16 slabs of unhinged delerium inspired by the films of deranged b-movie legend, Jess Franco!

You\'ll thrill to Dracula, Prisoner of Frankenstein!!!

The White Cannibal Queen will excite you!!!

Dr Wong will freeze your blood!!!

The Faceless will haunt your nightmares!!!

But remember, it\'s only a CD... only a CD... only a CD...

Mondo Franco is available in a limited run of 100 numbered copies.

Can you afford to miss out on the world\'s first garage-punk tribute to the world\'s craziest director?

The Mondo a Go-Go acknowledge that listeners of a squeamish or nervous disposition may experience sickness or nausea as a result of prolonged exposure to crudely-played, cheaply-recorded rock \'n\' roll. Initial copies of MONDO FRANCO ship with an exclusive sick bag for any patrons experiencing these symptoms.

MONDO FRANCO is intended to celebrate 50 years of Franco films. As such, the cost of the CD represents the cost of recording, manufacturing etc. Radium Dial and the Mondo a Go-Go will make no profit from it\'s sale... well, maybe enough to buy a couple of beers, but you wouldn\'t grudge us that, would you?

About us:

The Mondo a Go-Go started out in 1996 as a shifting pool of musicians brought together by one common goal - to play crude, hi-octane, garage-punk rock\'n\'roll. We put out our first long player, IN GO-GO WE TRUST, in 1998 and it\'s follow up, CRY OF THE BLONDE GODDESS, in 2002. In 2006 we contributed tracks to The Cramps tribute TRASH IS NEAT. That\'s as good a bio as you\'re gonna get!

Cheers!
