Michael O'Neill,guitarist for such stars as George Benson,Natalie Cole,Al Jarreau,Stevie Wonder,Rickie Lee Jones and many others is proud to present this new cd " Stringtime Serenity" which reflects his lifelong love for the sound of solo nylon string acoustic guitar.Previously known for his cd's in the smooth and contemporary jazz genres, Michael now establishes his unique compositional voice through 15 original solo guitar pieces which comprise "Stringtime Serenity".Michael has previously lent his skills on the nylon string acoustic guitar to such recordings as "Up from the Skies",a Jimi Hendrix song recorded by Rickie Lee Jones on her "Pop Pop" album and on " Winter Wonderland" recorded by Al Jarreau on his first ever Christmas cd entitled "Al Jarreau Christmas" released in 2008.Michael says " It is my chief aim to paint a picture through my compositions that take the listener to new and different ,yet somehow familiar places within ".
