Gorgeous sounding 11-track disc
author: Scott McLennan, Worcester Telelgram & Gazette
Hatch’s soprano accentuates the celebratory nature of the material. In the orchestra pieces, Hatch’s voice blends with the strings coloring the upper registers of the compositions. In the songs with simpler accompaniment she has the chance to be more dexterous, daring and playful with the material. The variety of the program and enthusiasm of the performances suggests Hatch enjoyed her return back to her roots.

Exceptional
author: Fred Looft
Much like an art work (Im no artist but I have an appreciation for exceptional works of art), Monica Hatch on this CD is stimply stunning, there are no other words to describe her signing and the music. Futher, as someone with a reasonable "audio" background, the recording it self is beautifully balanced and an absolute delight to listen to. Highly recommended!!!
