Monica's compelling vocals are uniquely sophisticated, sensual, and strong. Monica's vocals are versatile, full, and lustrous, capable of satisfying lively pop, smoky sensuous jazz and blues stylings, or soulful intimate and expressive ballads. A former fashion model, her stature and composure during performances is mature, elegant, and distinctive, giving her a stage presence that is difficult to ignore. This unique combination of writing style, vocal characteristics, and physical attributes places Monica in the circle of untapped exceptional talents, and a match for contemporary artists like Sheryl Crow, Dianna Krall, and Nora Jones, Sarah McLachlan.

Born in New England,While attending college, Monica studied Classical and Broadway works extensively, lending her strong vocals to several choirs and choruses, and performed in several local musical productions. In addition, she has studied and played piano for over 20 years, worked for several years at a North Shore fine jazz club, and is currently attending Berklee College of Music. A passionate and a deep appreciation of great jazz vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Joni Mitchell, Sarah Vaughn, Diane Shuur, Anita O'Day, have influenced Monica's jazz vocal style.
