Album Notes

God is so good! He has allowed me to record a second album and kept me out of the hospital to do it! My heart is so full from all the wonderful people that God has brought into my life. My two sisters Ellen and Karen are featured on the songs “God is So Good”, “Silver Hair” and “I’m Still Leaning”. I’m so glad they consented to sing with me. There is simply no better harmony than that of sibling harmony and I know they had fun doing it with me. I am looking forward to more of the same on the next album. David Reed has been invaluable as a friend and instrumentalist on this album. His talent is beyond great! Earl Sexton, I couldn’t have done it without your beautiful steel guitar work. Wayne, your guidance and help is so important to me. I certainly couldn’t have done it with out my good friend, mentor, arranger and “Genius” right hand man, Dennis Moore. Dennis has taught me more about music and song writing than anyone else and has proven to give me good sound advice time and time again. God bless you all! I am honored and blessed to know each one of you. I pray God will keep us together for more albums to come.

I would like to introduce to you my precious little friend Danielle McGuiggan from Perryville, Maryland. Danielle is 11 years old and sings and worships at my church,
1st Baptist Church of Perryville, Maryland and is featured on this album. Danielle gives all the glory to God for her talents and says, “I would like to thank the Lord for blessing me with the opportunity to better serve His kingdom with my voice.” Her favorite memory verse is Psalm 46:1. She plays piano, likes drama and has been studying American Sign Language for 5 years. My grandson Joshua and my sister Ute’s granddaughter, Nikki, sing the background vocals with Danielle. Danielle has consented to sing all my children’s songs and has a delightfully clear and enthusiastic voice that you are sure to fall in love with.

This album also contains a song I wrote in German, “All Meine Tage”. My first ever German song! I have taken the song Each Day and translated it into German for all my German friends and family. I was born in Biedenkopf, Germany and I have always had a desire to write a song that reflects my German heritage. Hope you enjoy it!

For all those who made this album possible and for those who have prayed and continue to pray for me and for my many fans, I thank God for each one of you and ask God to bless you one and all!
