As a working musician, solo piano gig provide a steady stream of work for me. The primary challenge on these engagements is selecting appropriate songs for the venue. As a result of favorable comment and repeated audience requests, I've been able to gather a sense of what to play when. The songs in this collection were chosen to reflect what I typically perform on a solo piano gig. Included are two of my own compositions which I often include in my playlist. I have always enjoyed the role of being an accompanist, so in this collection there are five cuts where I play both saxophone and piano.
