Monk With Gun was an experimental recording session which occurred late 1999 featuring Steve Perkins (drums), Dan Shulman (bass), Bernard Yin (guitars) and Kevin Lee (Theremin and synths). Most will be quick to recognized Stephen Perkins as the acclaimed LA drummer behind Jane's Addiction and has since been through many projects, most recently: Banyan, Methods of Mayhem and Hellride.

Dan Shulman has tucked away several years as the bassist of Garbage. Bernard Yin is an LA scene veteran with moments in bands such as Samba Hell, Medicine, Spindle, Sex With Lurch and The MiGs. Kevin Lee is one of LA's most clever Theremin players. As of 2006, Steve Perkins can still be seen smoking the drums all over rockdom, Dan is laying low and doing great, Kevin continues to do special appearances as one of LA's most amazing Theremin performers and Bernard is focusing on a new band Astra Heights as well as film/tv music related work.
