Singer/songwriter Andy Monosmith’s musical influences range from Chris Tomlin, Dave Mathews Band, Caedmons Call, Chris Rice and even the great Louis Armstrong. Andy plays guitar, piano, and harmonica. Andy’s passion to love the Lord in song is conveyed in his spirit and in his heartfelt lyrics.
Andy started playing at Campus Crusade for Christ for a local college, where he formed a praise and worship band “Consumed”. Consumed traveled in Ohio and several other states from 1998 to 2001 playing 200 plus shows and putting out 2 CDs. Consumed played in nearly every Christian denomination, and in public events as well, bringing in the spirit of a loving God who is worthy to be praised.
