My dance teachers Andre Meguerdichian (Pardon my spelling) & Pablo Francisco Ruvalcalba use Andy's music during our Modern Dance Class. It is always such exhilarating music to hear! Someone will always ask who the music is by, and Andre will just go into how Andy use to play as an accompanist in the Jose Limon Dance company, and how all Andre needed to do was ask for a certain measure and beat , and Andy would be able to whip something up! I love the calm, yet energ feeling to it!!

I'm using this CD to teach elementary creative movement. The kids love it and it fills a gap left by a lot of the other music I use. It has a peaceful quality but is still  interesting. Some songs are great for focused warm-ups, creating and improvising, and slower motor skills.  Other songs have a great beat and energy for big across the floor movements. Love it - thanks!
