Robert Monteleone recorded his 1st CD " Wake Up Call "15 yrs ago with his jazz band Simpozium. The band was formed in 1988 and has evolved into a diverse rhythmic & harmonic structure crossing many lines of today's categories. So, fitting the more commercial smooth genre, Monteleone has released his debut " Just Havin' Fun " CD. Maintaining the beautiful melodic structure which Robert holds core in all his compositions he delivers to you this sexy 10 song compilation with intensions to help listeners relax, reduce road rage, chill out, reflect, and hopefully Just Have Some Fun. Robert has toured opening shows for Pieces of a Dream, The Crusaders, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter,Tony Williams,Brian Bromberg,Richard Elliott,Roger Smith and headlined many local events throughout Northern California. On sax Robert features Tom Politzer from the TOWER OF POWER band. Tom delivers the most sweet, sexy, soulful, funky and smooth sounds on the scene today. Also from the TOWER OF POWER band keyboardist Roger Smith lends his producer talents to lift this project to a level of the smoothest quality. This CD is a must for your collections. The more you listen to it the more you love it.. SEE REVIEWS

CDBaby is a fountain of musical talents. You haven't to search for a long time to find professional musicians. Robert Monteleone is an old stager. Getting experience with his band Simpozium, a group founded in 1988, he now decides to have some chart breaking with the smooth jazz format. " Just Havin' Fun" is his debut album and a prominent name is helping in some promotion. It's the well-known keyboardist Roger Smith playing additional keyboards and synth bass on this album. He also co-produced this album giving it a professional finesse.
