Dr. Monte Selby’s distinctive work spans over two decades and has impacted participants from North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. As a critically acclaimed songwriter and recording artist, he shares comical and insightful music for children, parents, and educators. His musical endeavors (featured on network television, radio, pod casts, websites, original stage productions, and videos) are cultivated from an award-winning career as a teacher, principal, and professor.
His contributions as an author include articles and books for educators, books for children, and a leadership column for Middle Ground magazine. Monte lives in historic Council Grove, Kansas with his wife Michelle and their children. Monte and Michelle are dedicated school/community volunteers and have served on numerous professional and interagency boards at the state and local level.
