The members of MOONDAZE took the best out of their wide-ranging experiences and combined them to the modern and artistically ambitious sound that makes the style and unmistakable trademark of the band.
Behind every MOONDAZE song there's a story - about hidden secrets or unseen occurences happening between the facts of life or melting away in the unspoken rules of society.
The emotions and atmospheres of these stories are characterized by the music that forms together with the lyrics an integrated whole of musical work.
The somehow personal and very pure sound of their self-produced demo-CD "Life will live on" (1997) had a wide appeal to a few underground magazines in Europe and the USA.
The title track of the demo made it on the second issue of the famous sampler-series "Progressive DisDURPance" (www.durp.com) where MOONDAZE's song got high attention in the reviews again.
Now there is their new EP "Seek after Venus" (DAMCD 0001-01/Dazed Music), containing three previously unreleased tracks with a total running time of 26 minutes and a decent artwork by the photographer Pascal Richard.
The new songs and stories are stirring and wild, thougtful and sensual, with lyrics full of daily emotions, images and tragedies that make the listener sit down and think.
