Chris Moore's been at this awhile, starting in 1981, pounding drums for hardcore/punk quartet Negative Approach , theyve been on a " reunion tour " of late playing europe and US festivals , including performances with th Stooges , Sonic Youth , Melvins ...
Moore's also recently participated in 77 AND 88 Boadrum, a mystical, tribal performance(s) in NY and LA , composed by Japan's Avant Rock visionaries , The Boredoms.

Moore's received songwriter of the year prizes for Detroit Monthly/Metro Times ( 1993,1994 and 1995) , he won an Abe Olman scholarship From BMI/ASCAP in 2001, and Musicians Atlas Songwriter Runner-up in 2005.

Moore relocated to Brooklyn from Detroit in late 1996, he's released 6 cd's of roosty, eclectic folk that fuses blues , jazz and pop stylings..The Sons , his band include multi instrumentalists : Gary Langol, Adam Gold, Tom Gavin, and Dennis Cronin who also have colorful musical "bios" themselves . The fellas show a shared commitment to the 'band' as a living breathing entity, while also mining their own individual eclecticism.
