Moossaheads will be happy to hear that the formula hasn't changed in the last year, but the band's rootsy gumbo is even more piquant this time around. Based in Richmond, Virginia, MOOSSA has widespread appeal with fans both young and old alike. Moossa delivers a unique blend of groove-oriented roots rock and old school reggae. The group's sound has been likened to that of Elvis Costello meets Sublime or a cross between Bob Marley and Bob Dylan. The band maintains a steady touring schedule of over 100 performances a year.
