Toli Morilla is one of the most influential songwriters and performers of current Asturian music.
His music embraces the beauty and grandeur of Asturian language and culture and combines seamlessly with Galician and Castilian and with influences from all around the world.
His new album, “Entropia” is due for release in November 2006 and is an exciting development of his many stiles and influences is bound to be his most successful album ever.

Toli has been involved in music for many years and has worked on many hugely successful projects and albums.
His first solo album,” Nunca des la espalda “ was released in 1998 and soon established him as one of Asturias’ finest singer songwriters, but it was the release of ”Tierra de nadie” (“No man’s land”) by Hevia in 1999 and the second CD “ Al otro lado” in 2001 which Toli not only co-wrote but showcased his talents as a musician and arranger on a hugely successful album.
In 2003 Toli released his second solo album,” Entre el barro y las preguntas” which was supported and endorsed by Bob Dylan who provided two tracks for inclusion.
“Nueche D’Insomniu”, his next album project was released in 2004 was recorded in an extremely intimate studio environment.
This extraordinary album has undoubtedly drawn the most critical acclaim and shows Toli’s innate sense of theatricality and performance to develop outstanding songs some using ancient texts and poems performed in the Asturian language.

“Nueche d’insomniu”was also edited in CD-Book like a live theatre performance.
