Good music-- idiosyncratic lyrics

First of all, Lia and I were friends at Coe College in 1976. She lived in the apartment across from mine over at 1320 A Ave. Coe razed all those houses a few years later. Nice young lady with obvious musical talent. She left Coe and I have always wondered what became of her. Memorable woman! The music here is general world beat stuff and it's good to listen to. Lia's voice is still unmistakable. A very powerful contralto.  The lyrics, on the other hand, seem to me to be a sort of idiosyncratic Judeo-Christian mix I don't know quite how to  place. Sounds sort of cultish, personally, so I let it go at that. Three stars for this.
