Formed in Southern Connecticut in 2003, Morningside is quickly developing a reputation as the area's premier team of acoustic songwriters. Blending influences ranging from traditional folk to modern independent rock produces a unique assembly of sounds and styles.
Crafting a sound with guitars, banjo, double bass, mandolin and accordion, Morningside could easily be labeled as a roots Americana act, but their songs remain uniquely fresh and original.
