Album Notes

Hiro Morozumi is a Japanese-born jazz pianist who plays at concerts and clubs in Dallas and Tokyo areas.

Hiro's music will surely lighten your day with The infectious joy his music permeates; many instantly fall in love with the eternal kid excited about capturing his audience with beautiful melodies and uplifting rhythms.

Hiro's also a rising composer. He has won the 2003 Student Best Extended Composition Award from Down Beat Magazine. His compositions are featured in concerts, multi-media productions and ballets.

Hiro was a semi-finalist in the 2005 Montreux Jazz Festival Solo Piano Competition and has been selected among this year's semi-finalists as well.

Hiro wrote Track 5 - Sophisticated Lindy specially for swing dancing, which is his biggest love next to music. So try the audio sample if you're a lindy-hopper!
