Album Notes

You've heard him. Whether you realize it or not, you've heard him. In his feature commercial for Entertainment Tonight. Or with William Shatner on those Priceline.com ads. Or on all those ABC promos. Or on the Academy Awards, Judging Amy, Late Night with David Letterman, Real Sex, Malcom in the Middle, the Enquirer TV show, Bill Curtis Reports, Maria Shriver presents, and a host of others.

You've seen him in concert. With Bobby Caldwell, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Brian Culbertson, Boz Scaggs, Jim Brickman, Michael McDonald, Sheena Easton, Melissa Manchester, Larry Carlton, Daniel Ho, Frankie Avalon, Shirley Bassey, Cybill Sheppard, Ann Jillian, or Brian Setzer. At the Playboy Jazz Festival, the Montreal Jazz Festival, the Amiens Festival du Musique in France& the grand hall in Amsterdam, or London, or Liverpool, or in Germany, Costa Rica, Panama& the Joint at the Hardrock Hotel in Las Vegas, the MGM, Caesars Palace, the Venetian& the Idyllwild Jazz Festival, the Blue Note in Tokyo, in Fukuoka, the Catalina Jazz Festival, the Astrodome in Houston, the grand stadium in Mexico City, the University of Puerto Rico, the House of Blues&
well, you get the idea.

You probably own at least one C.D. that he's played on. Lucy Pearl, The West Side Story Tribute, Garden Party, three with Mike Sims, five with Russ Miller, four with Wah, two with Lori Andrews, three with Brian Setzer, Lifescapes. His name and trademark soulful sound are probably somewhere in your collection.

You've heard him. But you ain't heard nothin' yet.

George is proud to release his latest C.D. on Morpheus Music,
"Touch." Along with it, George will be touring on his own with his live show.
Oh yeah, we're gonna' have some fun. Get ready, it's time to feel the "touch"...

REVIEWS

From George's Lips to God's Ears!!!
author: Debi Michele Taub
I knew George Shelby when he was 14 years old. For a period of time we were best friends and he would, "Play Mist For Me"... He sounded great then; he loved to play in Stage Band and Charlemaine Payne was our Teacher... We understood Music and helped George tremendously...George has been given God Given TALENT and he has worked on it for years. I hope he is as good a person as he is a Saxophonist...From my Lips to God's ears. I am sure George would agree. George is naturally charismatic and a lot of fun to hang out with. His Music sounds great no matter what he plays because he is truly gifted and LOVES TO PLAY THE SAX!!!

This CD is the PERFECT choice for anyone who is looking to give themselves over to relaxation and enjoyment. It brings immediately to mind, candles, and bubblebaths (Ok, so it's a girl thing!). George's god given talent and the artistry he brings to life through that talent, makes this CD definitely on the replay list!
