Bob Morter
Music Biography

Bob started playing bass guitar in the 4th grade with his brother and formed his first band before moving to middle school. After a couple years Bob moved into a cover band in the seventh grade and began performing at schools, parties, and other social events. In 1977 Bob moved to Oregon and started working with Orange the Band, a very popular local band and eventually released his first CD with that band.
After playing Rock and Roll for over 30 years Bob received the Lord in his life and changed his music style and focus to Christian Contemporary Music. "After I found the real meaning of life, I just could not continue playing for any other reason but Jesus", says Bob. Instantly after being reborn, the rebirth also invaded Bob's music, and he moved from playing bass guitar for 3 decades and picked up the acoustic guitar.
Over 30 songs were written the first year of playing acoustic, and he made a commitment to leaning and practicing only the music that was given to him in times of worship. In 2005 Bob recorded his first CD of Christian music "I Can't Explain", and Bob is now performing in Churches, Fairs, Special events and concerts throughout the Northwest and hopes to be traveling nationally to share the music soon.
In 2004 Bob received the honor of being involved in the World Vision Artist program, and not only is Bob sharing the love of the gospel with others, he is working to get children sponsored for World Vision while he is worshiping with others.
The CD has a video testimony included on it of Bob's testimony that is a quick time video.
Bob is happily married with 5 children.
