Album Notes

MOSH, "Mad Wives' Tales": Furious
and funny, anger with a laugh, a
mastery of styles and rhythms.
Segues with "pop" and "rock" but
has a punk sensibility, punk a few
years later. Music to ride the ups
and downs with in these "interesting"
times. Lisa Gamache is part of a
better side of L. A. and a pro-
mising new talent.
--Lou Guru, KALX 90.7 fm, Berkeley

A native Texan, Lisa "Mosh" Gamache cut her musical teeth in the underground clubs of Austin, opening for the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Striking out for the West coast in 1990, she refined her vocal technique working as a session vocalist and penning R&B dance music throughout the 90's. The new millennium finds Mosh a veteran rock and roll mom, juggling motherhood with a musical vision that is both fresh and familiar. Her "big girl voice" has been compared with Annie Lennox (Playboy Magazine), but the words and the style are all her own. Check them out on her first solo CD "Mad Wives' Tales" released in October 2003.

great voice, boring songs
author: john
i love her voice. i wish she had some more appealing songs to sing. no disrespect intended, i just believe that the song quality is not on a par with her singing ability. i hope to hear this talented lady sing again, perhaps in a different style of music, or in songs written by other, different songwriters.

Rating: 5 Stars. Hello, Ya gotta get this CD.
author: Alex
First she's gonna rock ya a new a-hole. I swear that you won't be able to sit for a week. The grrl's got some lungs & she ain't afraid to use 'em. Second, she gives us some haunting melodies that will make ya wanna cry. Check Track #7; listening while driving, I hadda pull over as my eyes teared over. And that's sober, I swear. Third, the fotos inside the case are much better than the cover foto.
