From Knoxville, Tennessee, Louise Mosrie's debut album, Crave, is diverse in style as it reflects all the influences she grew up with...Brit pop, rock, folk and a dash of country (growing up near Nashville has it's consequences).

Her focused, intelligent songwriting and sweet, velvety vocals deliver the one-two punch on this CD.

Lovely combination of influences.

My faves are "Jaded", "The Best Kind" , and " The Road". I suppose that these songs are a reflection of my own cynicism and restlessness, but they are much more beautifully expressed than I could have ever done. The combination of folk, country-rock, and jazz could only come from someone who is comfortable with hersself, and her heritage .
