Album Notes

While releasing three CD’s and a DVD over the past six years Stone Alley Records is proud to introduce to you Most Wanted. An established recording act, Most Wanted’s roots have grown through out the Mid West during the New Millennia playing every rock haunt imaginable.
Hailing from Ann Arbor Michigan, the band has enjoyed a steady career as road-seasoned rockers touring constantly. Mark Hiser heads up this dynamic group for a nightly dosage of indie originals. With a tapestry of sincerely haunting vocals and clever deliveries, Hiser’s lyrics are timeless! Greg Kerkes, is the closest John Bonham / Matt Cameron you'll ever hear. Leading the rhythm section with his ancient set of Ludwig’s, Kerkes shows off his Zeppelin and Pearl Jam influences in the Most Wanted thump. Scott Arbogast’s guitar work is McCreedy meets Nugent, an awesome combination for today’s music. Justin Arbogast, a young energetic bass player is an original! Justin's Green Day vibe and Amhet style focus put him on top of the low-end drive in Most Wanted's sound.
Creative and entertaining, the group enjoyed a successful five-year stay with Megawave Records of Lansing, Michigan. In 2005 the band signed with Stone Alley Records and in February 2006 released “Welcome 2am”, a twelve-song power packed CD with plenty of guitars and drums for those in the industry needing a fix. The evolution of desire, fuels the emotion behind this dynamic recording. “Mountains”, “Wheels” and “Win” are total perseverance pieces, while “Illegally Strange” and “Inside My Head” derive from restless passion. The song “Contradictions” was inspired by 911 and evolved into a genuine guitar masterpiece. With no chorus line the sacred oh’s are a tribute to the departed souls buried in the smoke and ruins. “Welcome 2am” is a driving rock record busting with feelings of love, hate, sin and redemption, loaded with low-end and rock royalty vibration.
Most Wanted released two previous projects and a DVD. The debut CD titled “MOST WANTED” was recorded and released in 1998. The single "Can I See You", made radio play lists from California to New York with positive airplay. Music supervisors in Hollywood retained the sexual taunt “Beautiful” and the love struggling ballad “Bringing Home The Rain” for movie soundtrack libraries.
The follow up to MOST WANTED was released in September 2001 and is titled “Tattoo Girls.” This CD includes the singles "In My Life", " Crazy Little Woman" and "Tattoo Girls". With national radio play and regional distribution the song “Tattoo Girls” became an anthem for the new generation of tattoo artists. Andy Patalan of the bands Throttle Body and Sponge, recorded, engineered and mixed the CD’s “MOST WANTED” and “Tattoo Girls”.
