Mother Jones has garnered much attention on the jam band scene since forming over four years ago in Southern Californa. Their original songs have an infectuous appeal, fusing elements of rock, reggae, blues, R&B, country, Latin and jazz, creating a sound that connects with a wide audience. Mother Jones keeps a busy schedule, performing at festivals and well known venues throughout California and neighboring states. The band has built a large fan base, drawing audiences in with their strong musicianship, harmony-rich vocals and solid songwriting. Mother Jones puts on a show that is an experience to be remembered, with an almost tangible energy emanating from the stage and a cohesive groove that everyone can feel. They work hard, generating powerful jams and creating vocal landscapes that often bring the crowd to it's feet, if they're not out there shakin' it already! With the release of their second album, "Union", which is already generating tremendously positive feedback from fans and music & radio industry folk, Mother Jones looks forward to a great year ahead.

MOTHER JONES: LOS ANGELES, CA. GOLDEN BOYS:Mother Jones calls itself a 'rock and roll jamband.' They’ve certainly got the vibe, as much of their material starts with a laidback, melodic groove and then picks up pace and intensity. The Grateful Dead, Dickey Betts, mid-‘70s Eric Clapton as well as world beat influences are all evident. At the same time, the band fits neatly into the modern-day jam scene. After a year-and-a-half of touring in California and Arizona, the band is getting ready for more widespread touring to help promote its debut, Life Is Illusion. The album boasts memorable, hook-laden songs and interesting picking and is more than worth the price of admission.
