Album Notes

MOTU is Dr Richard Michelson, a multi discipline recording/performing artist that has been on the New York music scene for a few years now. His electric (and acoustic) guitar playing has elements of Jazz, Rock, and the Blues with obvious influences of Jimi Hendrix, Pat Metheny, and Eric Clapton. His vocals have a traditional Blues sound. However, his style is ALL his own and his fans can easily recognize his music usually within the first few guitar riffs. It is not unusual to find MOTU playing in a small club in the New York, or Long Island, area on any given evening (without any advance warning). If you are a fan of good Blues/Rock, or just a fan of great unique guitar work, you are sure to be in for a treat when you hear any of MOTU’s CDs.
